emerge

We are pleased to announce a solo show entitled Emerge, by Uemura Akiko, in November and December.
Uemura has thus far exhibited extremely dark black-and-white photos from which images indistinctly emerge.
The somehow familiar scenery, which seems like it could be anywhere, creates a strong sense of alienation.
At this exhibition, we will show her works depicting plants, which focus on the theme of “that which was hidden or invisible coming into view.”
