CADAN will open a new gallery space, “CADAN Otemachi,” at the end of October, following its existing gallery space “CADAN Yurakucho.”

The inaugural exhibition at this new space will feature works by eight artists selected by four Kansai-based galleries—Yoshiaki Inoue Gallery (Osaka), The Third Gallery Aya (Osaka), MORI YU GALLERY (Kyoto), FINCH ARTS (Kyoto) will present works by eight artists selected from their respective perspectives on the theme of “Transcending Borders.” From our gallery, we present Kasahara Emiko and Fujiyasu Jun.

“Transcending Borders” is conceived not merely as crossing national or regional boundaries, but as an act that traverses frameworks such as materials, techniques, generations, spirituality, and cultural backgrounds. This exhibition attempts to let visitors experience the power of art that “transcends boundaries” through diverse practices intersecting across generations and regions.
